Meet Jeremy, Catherine, their two children and two sweet foster babies. Catherine reached out to me about capturing updated family portraits to celebrate their time with their newest foster children. I love that she and Jeremy always like having updated family portraits when they’re fostering children. Catherine and Jeremy frame portraits of every child who comes through their home so they can pray and think about them every day. I just love this tradition that this incredible family has.

Their at-home lifestyle session was at their home in St. Louis MO. We spent time out on their cute front porch with their two pups, Jubilee and Louie. After letting the kids get some wiggles out, we headed indoors for the remainder of their session. I loved documenting the Moore family as they are together on any other day. And the fact that they moved into a new home not long after this session made these photos even more special. They’ll have portraits from their old home that they can cherish forever.

Foster Family Mini Sessions

While I offer mini sessions in the fall, Catherine and her love for family sessions with her children inspired me to offer mini sessions for families with foster children. Adopted and foster care families hold a special place in my heart and I want these parents and families to have portraits that document their journey with every child they have welcomed into their home.
